Champagne Nicolas Maillart is a family-owned Champagne house located in Écueil, within France's renowned Montagne de Reims region. The Maillart family's winemaking heritage dates back to 1753, with ancestors cultivating vines in the neighboring village of Chamery. Today, Nicolas Maillart, representing the ninth generation, leads the estate, seamlessly blending traditional methods with modern techniques. The vineyards, situated in Premier and Grand Cru villages such as Écueil, Villers-Allerand, and Bouzy, are predominantly planted with Pinot Noir, which accounts for approximately 75% of their holdings. ​The estate is committed to sustainable viticulture, holding certifications like Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) and Viticulture Durable en Champagne (VDC), reflecting their dedication to environmental stewardship.
