The Maillart family's winemaking heritage dates back to 1753, with ancestors cultivating vines in the neighboring village of Chamery. The vineyards, situated in Premier and Grand Cru villages such as Écueil, Villers-Allerand, and Bouzy, are predominantly planted with Pinot Noir, which accounts for approximately 75% of their holdings.
